GLACIAL GEOLOGICAL HERITAGE IN CROATIA and
Project Meeting
9 – 12 October 2022, Novigrad (Dalmatia), Croatia

TOPICS:

• Presentation of the glacial geological heritage of Croatia

• The state of the art in geoconservation and activities in each member-country of the ProGEO Regional group for south-east Europe

• Geoconservation and geotourism

• IGCP project meeting

PARTICIPATION AND FEE:

The number of participants is limited to 35.

Project participants and ProGEO members – 245€, others 345€

The fee includes accommodation, meals, materials and local transport.

Participants can choose to participate in the Symposium and start from Rab to Starigrad-Paklenica or arrive directly at Starigrad-Paklenica via Zagreb or Zadar.

DAY 1 (9 Oct)

- Bus travel from Rab to Novigrad

- Accommodation

- Introduction to the Workshop and IGCP Project meeting

DAY 2 (10 Oct)

- Field trip – Glacial geological heritage sites in Northern Dalmatia

- Presentations of national representatives and IGCP Project participants

DAY 3 (11 Oct)

- Field trip – Glacial geological heritage (Paklenica National Park)

- Discusion and conclusions

DAY 4 (12 Oct) - Departure from Novigrad
